PreProduction Graphic Designer

The Pre-Production Graphic Designer at GildedBox (“The Company”) is responsible for creating print ready files for printing, laser engraving, and cutting of various products and packaging as directed by our Sales or Graphics team. This Position reports to our Lead Graphic Designer.

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Vectorizing artwork/logos/text

Creating clean print ready files from assets provided to us by the customer in a number of different formats

Using Photoshop SmartObjects to pull artwork and placing onto templates

Typesetting and providing proofs for customers’ orders

Convert various file types into final art ready for printing/engraving/customization

Using InDesign’s Data Merge feature to automate personalization onto product & packaging

TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS

Photoshop (Pro)

InDesign (Expert)

JSON automation script familiarity (Bonus)

Must be very meticulous and have great attention to detail

Be intensively driven and proactive
