Role Overview Globe Life is looking for a Southeast Regional Sales Director to develop an assigned territory by raising awareness of Globe Life Benefits in high‑opportunity markets and driving revenue growth through strategic broker partnerships.
Key Responsibilities Develop relationships with local, regional, and national broker partners to generate new business and grow existing accounts.
Manage the entire sales cycle, including cold calling, appointment setting, RFP responses, product training, and participation in industry events.
Create and execute a territory marketing plan in partnership with senior management.
Maintain territory management practices to achieve annual new‑business targets of $1.5‑3.5million and meet renewal goals.
Travel up to 50% of the time and comply with all regulatory, company, and legal requirements.
Qualifications Bachelor’s degree preferred.
Accident & Health license required.
Proven sales results with a minimum of five years’ experience in the supplemental health/voluntary benefits industry.
Strong broker and distribution partner network.
Experience with technology‑as‑a‑service tools in the insurance market (enrollment platforms, benefit administration, communications).
Track record of profitable business development and ability to sustain a territory book.
Excellent listening, verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to work independently, set goals, manage time, and meet deadlines.
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
Customer‑focused sales approach and team‑player mindset when collaborating with operational resources.
Location and Work Arrangement This position is remote/work‑from‑home. Candidates must reside in the U.S. Southeast region.
