Shift: 8am-5pm Pay: 18/HR Position Summary We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Label Technician to support pharmaceutical packaging and labeling operations in a GMP-regulated manufacturing environment. The Label Technician is responsible for preparing, inspecting, issuing, reconciling, and documenting labels used for pharmaceutical products to ensure compliance with FDA regulations, company procedures, and quality standards. The ideal candidate has strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to work accurately in a fast-paced production environment. Key Responsibilities Prepare, print, inspect, and issue product labels for packaging operations.
Verify label accuracy against approved batch records, specifications, and artwork.
Perform line clearance and label reconciliation activities before and after production runs.
Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
Inspect labels for defects, readability, correct lot numbers, expiration dates, and barcodes.
Coordinate with Quality Assurance, Packaging, and Production teams to resolve discrepancies.
Ensure controlled storage and handling of label inventory and printed materials.
Assist with equipment setup, operation, and troubleshooting for labeling systems and printers.
Support audits and inspections by maintaining organized records and documentation.
Follow all safety, cleanliness, and compliance requirements within the manufacturing facility.
Qualifications High school diploma or GED required; associate degree or technical certification preferred.
1–3 years of experience in pharmaceutical, medical device, food manufacturing, or regulated production environments preferred.
Knowledge of GMP, FDA regulations, and documentation practices is preferred.
Strong attention to detail and ability to identify discrepancies quickly.
Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office and manufacturing systems.
Ability to read and follow batch records, SOPs, and work instructions.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds.
