FASHION (New York City)
New York based women wear fashion company seeks a Senior Fashion Designer with minimum of 10 years experience. We are a mass market updated ladies apparel company in the missy, women and petite categories from bottoms, to tops, to jackets, to active wear and to sleepwear.
Individuals should be organized, motivated, creative and have a good sense of style, trends and color direction.
Required Skills:

Need to work in a fast-paced, multi-tasking environment
Highly proficient with Adobe Illustrator or Photoshop and tech sketching
Extensive experience in measuring and specifying garment dimensions
Excellent communications skills with Sales, Production and Technical design teams
Must be comfortable presenting in front of buyers and management
With minimum of 10 years experience
Responsibilities include:

Identifying current and upcoming trends for particular retailers and our brands
Technical flat sketches
Editing and creating line sheets
Developing and designing presentation boards and color schemes
In-depth knowledge of prints and pattern design
Pattern repeats/re-coloring
Dialogue with factories
Salary: $110,000
The position is full time with benefits.
