ROLE SUMMARY
As a Studio Coordinator (SC) you support the world-class CorePower Yoga studio experience by coordinating studio operations and ensuring the studio meets the highest health and safety standards. You work alongside the Studio Manager to deliver results and sustain growth toward company and studio-level goals.
Studio Presence and Guiding the Student Experience
Act as an ambassador of the CorePower Yoga Core Values at all times and consistently inspire these values in others.
Support the Studio Manager in achieving company and studio-level goals, including membership growth, retail sales, community outreach, teacher and SET recruitment, and programming enrollment.
Commit to a flexible schedule of 18–29 hours per week in studio for operations coordination and teaching (if certified), including health and safety protocol execution, front desk guidance, and team support.
Maintain flexibility with schedule availability within the hourly commitment to serve the studio and team.
Responsibly run the studio, acting as the point of contact for students and staff when the Studio Manager is not present, up to 20 hours per week.
Support maintaining an appropriate level of studio supply inventory so that all provisions and amenities are available for students at all times, including cleanliness inventory, locker room amenities, towels, and programming materials.
Engage and know your studio community consistently; greet students by name, serve as an ambassador of yoga both inside and outside the studio, and spend quality time at the front desk fostering community.
Support our teachers’ learning experience by working the POS and handling other pre/post class duties.
Coordinate and Execute Health, Safety, and Cleanliness Protocol in the Studio
Uphold high standards for the studio and ensure the physical studio space meets the CorePower Yoga high CPY standards of cleanliness and functionality, including a safe environment, optimum heat and humidity, inspiring music, and a clean, clutter-free atmosphere.
Support communication around Smart Health Protocol to students upon entry and throughout their visit at CPY.
Act as an extension of the Studio Experience Team (SET) by cleaning the studio, stocking amenities, and ensuring the CPY cleanliness protocol is always followed while on duty.
Support the SET team by interviewing SET applicants, hiring SET employees, scheduling SET employees’ shifts, stepping in for no-call
o-shows, training, and disciplining/terminating SET employees who violate CPY policies and standards.
Lead orientation for new Studio Experience Team members and train them on cleanliness protocol and role expectations.
Coordinate Studio Systems
Act as a liaison between the Studio Manager and the teaching and SET teams, coordinating studio operational systems including the Point of Sales System (POS). Understand and efficiently navigate the POS to sign students in, sell packages and memberships, and resolve student account issues.
Support the Online Reservation System, handling administrative follow-up of late cancellation fees, waitlists, and student support.
Assist with the Subbing Application, training and usage for the teaching team.
Support the HRIS Application, training and usage for teaching and SET teams.
Submit facilities tickets via the Help Desk when on duty and communicate follow-up needs to the Studio Manager.
Teaching Schedule
Support the studio class schedule by teaching a minimum of 6 CorePower Yoga classes per week and subbing additional classes as needed.
Skills & Experience
Demonstrate CorePower Yoga Core Values.
Excellent oral communication skills, professionalism, and exceptional interpersonal skills.
Experience in customer service required.
Completion of a Yoga Alliance certified 200-hour program is preferred.
Yoga Sculpt teacher training is preferred.
Familiarity with studio systems such as HRIS, intranet, POS, scheduling, and payroll systems.
Ability to build relationships with individuals across diverse personalities and seniority levels.
Thrives in a fast‑paced environment and can prioritize while managing multiple deadlines.
Proven self‑starter with enthusiasm for new projects.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office products: Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel.
Excellent time‑management skills and initiative.
College degree (BA/BS) preferred.
Compensation
$24.00 per hour.
Fine Print
Availability must match the needs of the business and leadership zig‑zag schedules – morning, evening, weekend, and some holiday availability and flexibility required.
Must be able to move around the studio space, crouch, reach, and lift up to 25 lbs.
If certified to teach, must be able to step in to teach class with little to no notice while scheduled in the studio.
