Copywriter

We are seeking a talented and creative Copywriter to join our dynamic team on a contract basis.
Responsibilities

Write clear, concise, and compelling copy that aligns with the brand’s tone and voice.
Collaborate with the marketing team to develop creative concepts and ideas.
Conduct research on industry trends and competitors to ensure content is relevant and competitive.
Edit and proofread all content to ensure accuracy and consistency.
Optimize content for SEO purposes.
Brainstorm new ideas for campaigns and promotions.
Stay up-to-date with industry best practices and implement them into copywriting strategies.
Requirements

Proven work experience as a Copywriter or similar role; portfolio required.
Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
Strong understanding of SEO principles.
Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
Detail-oriented with strong time‑management skills.
Knowledge of social media platforms and their respective writing styles.
A degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related field is preferred but not required.
Salary: $1200 per month
Location: Akron (remote work option available)
