Senior Copywriter – VML Health
We are seeking a detail‑oriented and creative Senior Copywriter to craft compelling and accurate copy across diverse formats. The role demands strong collaboration with editorial, creative, medical, and regulatory teams to deliver high‑quality work that meets all requirements and deadlines.

Key Responsibilities

Write clear, concise, accurate, and well‑organized copy appropriate to print, digital, online, and social media formats, ensuring effective communication across HCP and DTC audiences.

Develop concepts in partnership with art and creative teams, maintaining clinical accuracy and brand voice.

Conduct research on therapeutic topics and adapt findings to support brand strategies.

Maintain a strategic understanding of the competitive landscape, emerging data, guideline changes, and newsworthy events that could influence brand messaging.

Participate in client presentations when appropriate, articulating how ideas achieve communication objectives.

Represent the agency during medical and regulatory reviews, providing solutions and recommendations.

Capable of producing clear, concise, and accurate copy across multiple formats and audiences.

Confident presenter who can effectively communicate work to internal teams.

Team player who collaborates closely with creative and cross‑functional groups to execute strategic and tactical concepts that address business challenges.

Required Qualifications

3–4 years of relevant client or agency experience.

Strong portfolio that demonstrates strategic and conceptual thinking.

Experience in the healthcare or pharmaceutical industry.

Proven ability to write for both Healthcare Professional and Direct‑to‑Consumer audiences, adapting tone, complexity, and messaging appropriately.

Deep understanding of regulatory and communication challenges within the pharmaceutical and healthcare landscape for both professional and consumer audiences.

Compensation
Base salary range: $60,000 – $140,000 USD (varies by location, business needs, level of responsibility, experience, and qualifications).
