The Talent and Organizational Development Manager is responsible for designing and executing a scalable, high-impact people strategy that supports hiring, onboarding, training, development, and retention across the organization.

This role serves as the central owner of the employee lifecycle, ensuring every associate—from candidate through long-term contributor—has a clear path, strong onboarding experience, and ongoing development aligned to company goals.

Success in this role requires a hands‑on operator with strategic thinking—someone who can build structure, drive accountability, and elevate leadership capability across the organization.

Key Responsibilities
Talent Acquisition & Hiring

Lead full‑cycle recruiting across hourly and salaried roles

Partner with leadership to define role requirements and hiring priorities

Track key hiring metrics

Onboarding and Integration

Own and continuously improve onboarding program for all new hires

Ensure alignment between job descriptions, expectations, and training path

Associate Experience & Retention

Monitor engagement, retention trends, and turnover drivers

Develop initiatives to strengthen culture, communication, and retention

Training and Workforce Development

Lead development of training programs and skill progression frameworks

Build and maintain training matrices

Measure training effectiveness and adjust programs accordingly

Performance Management & Associate Development

Own and continuously improve performance review and check‑in processes

Ensure role clarity across all position

Support leaders in setting expectations, coaching, and accountability

Qualifications

7+ years of experience in HR, talent, or workforce development

Experience in manufacturing or operations environments strongly preferred

Proven ability to build and implement structured processes

Strong communication and leadership skills

Ability to operate both strategically and tactically

Experience leading or building training programs

Familiarity with performance management systems
