Independent Goldsmith Contractor — San Diego

Artinian Gems located in Poway, CA is looking for a skilled independent goldsmith to join us on a contract basis. We need a true generalist who can move comfortably between routine bench work and high end custom pieces, from ring sizing, prong tightening, stone resetting, and chain repair through to wax carving, CAD/CAM design, and one-of-a-kind custom builds in gold and platinum.

The right person is a confident hand at the bench, has their own tools and shop space, communicates clearly on turnaround times, and treats client stones with the care our clientele expects. Experience setting fine colored stones and diamonds is essential. CAD proficiency is required for the custom side of the work.

Must be located in the San Diego area and available for in-person handoffs. Compensation by piece or project, negotiated per job.
