Job Description
As a Craftsman / Handyman at Ace Handyman Services, you will play a pivotal role in delivering high‑quality home repair and maintenance services. Your day will typically involve evaluating the needs of your clients, executing diverse repair tasks, and ensuring customer satisfaction through excellent service. You will work both independently and as part of a dynamic team, tackling everything from minor repairs to more involved maintenance projects.

Qualifications & Responsibilities

Strong empathy, listening skills, and excellent customer service and interpersonal abilities.

High school diploma or equivalent; technical school or vocational training in a related field preferred.

Minimum of 8 years of experience as a service technician in home repair and/or commercial maintenance. Personal tools are required for consideration.

Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and various equipment.

Excellent problem‑solving abilities and strong attention to detail.

Effective verbal and written communication skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast‑paced environment.

Own truck or van with a valid driver's license and a clean driving record.

Physical ability to stoop, bend, kneel, stretch, lift, and carry items relevant to repair and maintenance tasks.

Availability to work required business hours without tardiness, interruptions, or early departures. Typical hours are Monday to Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM.

Ability to read, interpret, and navigate maps within the assigned territory.

Experience in one or more of the following areas:

Siding, soffit, and fascia repair.

Window replacement.

Deck repair and building.

Touch‑up painting and general painting.

Furniture or equipment assembly.

Carpentry work.

Minor brick work and tuckpointing.

Pouring concrete for small projects.

Fence repair and installation.

Framing and door adjustments/installation.

Gutter cleaning and repair.

General handyman tasks.
