PR Sr Account Executive, B2B Tech

SutherlandGold Group is looking for a Sr Account Executive with solid B2B tech Public Relations experience preferably in the cybersecurity, AI or fintech space. The ideal candidate has 3-5 years of experience working on B2B tech clients, a good understanding of the overall technology industry and relationships with tech media that have resulted in significant coverage for clients.
As the day to day client contact, the SAE's role is to manage client projects and programs, helping to ensure that all aspects of an account are moving forward, ensuring all client and media deliverables are high-quality and error free.
Responsibilities Manage client projects and programs independently - i.e. client launches, executive thought leadership platform, digital campaigns, influencer programs
Contribute to creation of plans, strategies and messaging.
Provide media strategy for launches, announcements, etc.
Develop smart, effective pitches for news announcements and trend pitching.
Secure media hits both at tier one and trade outlets
Work closely with trade and business media, bloggers, influencers, etc. to shape and control communications that are in line with overall client and account objectives.
Provide insightful analysis of coverage and announcement recaps for clients.
Develop and edit creative, high-quality written materials, including executive communications, press releases, speaking & awards submissions, content for influencing blogs, online news sites, etc.
Qualifications 3 – 5 years post graduate experience in a public relations agency or a similar position.
Solid understanding of overall B2B technology industry.
Experience monitoring analytics (Google Analytics, social media, etc.)
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
