Description
RiVidium is seeking a Writer / Editor to support our planned MODES III team supporting Military Community and Family Policy (MC&FP). This role supports Outreach & Engagement Services and helps deliver mission‑focused outcomes for service members, families, and related stakeholders. Drafts and edits strategic communications materials under PWS C.5.2; ensures consistency, clarity, and measurable messaging outcomes. This position is contingent upon contract award.
Key Responsibilities
Draft, edit, and refine clear, audience‑focused written content for digital and campaign use.
Ensure content is accurate, accessible, well‑structured, and aligned to approved messaging.
Support content lifecycle activities including revisions, quality review, and publication readiness.
Coordinate with strategists, designers, and program stakeholders to deliver polished products.
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline or equivalent professional experience.
Relevant experience aligned to the role and labor category; openings may be filled at Mid (6-10 yrs).
Ability to satisfy applicable Government personnel security requirements for the assigned role and work with sensitive but unclassified information.
Strong communication, teamwork, and documentation skills in a mission‑focused delivery environment.
Demonstrated ability to produce high‑quality digital, visual, written, or user‑experience deliverables relevant to the role.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience supporting public sector, defense, or mission‑focused digital communications programs.
Familiarity with audience analytics, user‑centered design, accessibility, and content performance measurement.
Experience collaborating across content, design, stakeholder engagement, social media, and campaign teams.
Work Setting
This role is expected to support work in the Alexandria, Virginia area, with on‑site support at the DoD Mark Center or other customer‑approved locations as required. Hybrid support in the Alexandria, Virginia area is expected, with on‑site support as required by the customer.
