We’re looking for a creative, reliable, and energetic Social Media & Content Creator to support our team in the Houston market and serve as an extension of the FreeRange Concepts marketing team.


What You’ll Do

This is a hands-on, hourly role supporting FreeRange Concepts’ social presence across its Houston concepts (2–3 brands). You’ll work closely with the Dallas-based marketing team while acting as the go-to person on the ground for content capture, execution, and day-to-day channel management.


Core Responsibilities (2 Brands)

  • Own and manage day-to-day activity across two brands’ social accounts, including monitoring DMs and comments and actively engaging with the community
  • Plan and build monthly content calendars (2–3 posts per week per brand), including developing shot lists for content shoots across two brands
  • Stay on top of trends and identify opportunities that make sense for each brand
  • Capture high-quality photo and video content across food, beverage, interiors, guest moments, and behind-the-scenes with a strong creative eye
  • Create and edit content that feels native to each platform – Instagram vs. TikTok
  • Write captions that match each brand’s voice and tone
  • Translate each brand’s personality into content that feels distinct and on-brand, not templated
  • Collaborate with marketing team to ensure alignment with broader goals
  • Schedule and publish content across Instagram, TikTok, and Facebook
  • Track performance and share monthly insights across two brands using analytics tools

Additional Support (Other Brands)

  • Support additional concepts with quarterly content capture as needed (events, updates, milestones, etc.)

What We’re Looking For

  • 1–2 years of experience managing social media accounts (hospitality, lifestyle, food & beverage, fashion, or retail preferred)
  • A strong portfolio that shows both content creation and account ownership
  • Confident copywriting skills with a good sense of tone and voice (able to show examples)
  • A solid understanding of current social trends and platform best practices
  • Availability for monthly on-site content shoots at two Houston locations
  • Strong communication skills: you’re open to feedback, quick to adapt, and collaborative
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to juggle shifting priorities
  • Self-sufficient and reliable in a fast-paced environment (Monday–Friday, with some evening/weekend flexibility as needed)
