About the Role

Responsible for creative development and production of PGA TOUR content across PGA TOUR platforms. The Content Producer will produce, shoot and/or edit features, teases and vignettes for use across content teams. Responsible for assisting in the creative development and execution of assigned projects. This position will also work across platforms, producing for linear and digital and will be responsible for assisting in the creative development and execution of assigned projects.
Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Digital Media, Journalism, Television/Film Production, Broadcast Journalism, Communications and/or related area of study
Three to five years’ experience in production and the ability to oversee production of content from start to finish
Hands‑on experience in production in the different styles of single and multi‑camera shooting, lighting techniques, interviewing and editing of feature material
Experience with non‑linear video editing
Experience in developing program content, generating creative treatments, organizing show rundowns, script writing and line‑producing for a wide variety of programming
Familiarity with the current digital and social media landscape, including best practices, success metrics, and creating content for X, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, and other current and emerging platforms
Strong background in golf content preferred; interest in golf required
Ability to multitask and meet deadlines under pressure in a team environment
Strong writing and editing skills including grammar, style and spelling
Commitment to a high‑quality work product that meets and exceeds brand and fan standards
Able to safely operate a utility vehicle such as, but not limited to, a 2, 4, and 6 passenger golf cart/utility cart with other passengers and production equipment
Responsibilities

Develop and implement a 24/7 programming schedule for the PGA TOUR’s FAST channel on Roku, Pluto TV, LG Channels and more with relevant shows and features for each week of the TOUR’s schedule, working with FAST partner to make the best use of available tools
Work with Media Business Development on FAST content strategy as new platforms are brought online and deals are put in place
Review metrics and tailor programming to meet developing trends
Regularly review performance metrics on streamed content along with shared digital, social content
Use learnings to make adjustments and better position shows and videos for success
Coordinates various content groups while identifying stories that reinforce PGA TOUR messaging
Produce/lead features, shows, and/or projects by utilizing research, writing and editing skills
Produce and direct field shoots as required with PGA TOUR players, stakeholders, sponsors, etc.; conduct interviews and obtain necessary footage to incorporate into assigned project(s)
Shoot and edit features and/or other content for various projects/platforms as assigned
Create engaging content from concept to completion before, for use on PGA TOUR digital platforms
Oversee the creative execution of assigned shows, video podcasts and/or projects by establishing feature ideas, show rundowns, writing and reviewing scripts and directing staff during field shoots
Develop shows and feature content for sharing across a variety of platforms, including digital, social and streaming while incorporating a variety of media including video, motion graphics, animations and photos
Manage and supervise production teams in the daily planning and execution of all assigned programs and/or projects
Work with talent on voice over session and on‑camera material
Work with supervisors to maintain budgets
Develop lines of communication and relationships with various PGA TOUR departments to ensure efficient execution of projects
Uses golf knowledge and creativity to conceptualize and pitch content ideas
Available to travel and available during competition hours, which may include evenings and weekends
Special projects or other duties as assigned
