We are looking for a Senior Product Manager to join a small, cross‑functional team focused on an exciting new casual game. This role involves owning projects, driving results, and directly impacting the business performance of new and innovative game experiences.
Position Overview
As a Senior Product Manager, you will work closely with a cross‑functional group to write product specifications, drive feature development, design experiments, analyze data to identify problems and opportunities, and secure buy‑in on solutions.
What You’ll Do
- Lead a team of developers to move features and initiatives from concept to launch, and report on performance while sharing learnings across the studio.
- Apply a hypothesis‑based analytical approach and conduct experimentation, developing expertise in core and domain‑specific metrics.
- Maintain focus on business goals while advocating for the team, customers, and business.
- Deliver detailed reporting on active experiments and game performance, distilling key observations into clear action plans that drive results.
- Work in a highly iterative and collaborative live game environment.
- Continuously improve the business by playing the game, prioritizing feedback, and proactively pitching solutions and ideas.
What You Bring
- 5+ years of product management experience in live free‑to‑play video games, with experience in casual and dice games preferred.
- Ability to deconstruct competing feature sets and understand the market landscape; ability to propose efficient, goal‑focused features.
- Excellent communication skills for both small and large group settings and senior management; proficiency in writing and maintaining product specifications.
- Skillful at filtering and prioritizing large amounts of qualitative and quantitative feedback into digestible insights for the team.
- Enjoy sharing meaningful takeaways that help other PMs and team members grow.
- Passion for games and crafting fun, compelling, and exciting user experiences.
- Outstanding written, oral, organizational, and analytical abilities, with strong attention to detail.
Benefits
The pay range for this position in California at the start of employment is expected to be between $108,900 and $161,160 per year. Base pay is based on market location and may vary based on individualized factors such as job‑related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package may also include bonus and/or equity awards and eligibility to participate in a 401(K) plan and Employee Stock Purchase Program.
