DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Prospect for business based on local networks, connections, and communities.
- Sell across our product lines – personal, commercial, employee benefits, and other coverages.
- Be supported by the HUB International corporate and regional offices to create an entrepreneurial journey.
- Ensure client satisfaction and be the cornerstone of superior customer service.
- Conduct sales, service, and solicitation of all forms of insurance business.
- Maximize growth and client retention through superior customer service.
- Develop accounts and cross-sell available products and services.
- Generate and pursue new client opportunities.
- Present services and solutions at prospect meetings.
- Bring new business prospects to closure.
- Retain clients by maintaining solid business-to-business relationships.
WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE
- 3+ years of previous business-to-business sales experience.
- Commercial insurance sales experience highly preferred.
- Bachelors degree preferred.
- Experience selling to a specific industry.
- Ability to obtain the appropriate state licensing within 90 days of hire for applicable positions as approved by HUB.
- Preference given to those with existing insurance licensure and/or industry designations.
- Ability to work under pressure and within deadlines.
- Good listening skills and ability to determine clients’ needs efficiently.

Disclosure required under applicable municipal regulations in NY and NJ, as well as the law in Colorado, California and Washington states: The expected salary range for this position is $85,000 to $150,000 per year depending on experience and will be impacted by factors such as the candidate's skills, experience, location, and the specific business line, scope, and level. HUB International offers comprehensive benefit and total compensation packages, which could include health/dental/vision/life/disability insurance, FSA, HSA, 401(k) accounts, paid time off benefits, and eligible bonuses, equity, and commissions for some positions.
