We are seeking a talented and experienced Senior Graphic Designer to create high-quality visual materials that support organizational branding, marketing, communications, and strategic initiatives. This role is responsible for designing and producing print, digital, presentation, environmental, and web-based creative assets while ensuring brand consistency, accessibility, and strong visual communication standards. The ideal candidate is highly creative, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple projects in a fast-paced environment while collaborating with internal stakeholders and external vendors.
Responsibilities
- Design and produce creative materials for print, digital platforms, presentations, advertising, social media, signage, environmental graphics, and web communications.
- Develop creative concepts, layouts, illustrations, templates, and visual systems that support marketing campaigns, events, programs, and communications initiatives.
- Maintain and apply brand standards, including logo usage, typography, color palettes, photography, templates, and visual consistency.
- Collaborate with internal teams and stakeholders to recommend effective creative solutions and production approaches.
- Prepare production-ready files for print, digital, promotional, and multimedia use while ensuring technical accuracy and quality standards.
- Review proofs and final deliverables to ensure consistency, quality control, and alignment with approved creative direction.
- Research and source photography, illustrations, icons, and visual assets for various marketing and communication materials.
- Coordinate with vendors, printers, and production teams to ensure timely and accurate delivery of creative assets.
- Create visual assets for multimedia presentations, publications, websites, and digital communication platforms.
- Organize and maintain creative files, templates, brand assets, and design resources.
- Stay updated on current design trends, accessibility standards, production processes, and design software enhancements.
- Manage multiple deadlines and prioritize projects effectively in a collaborative environment.
Required Qualifications
- Associate’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communications, Commercial Art, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of professional graphic design experience.
- Experience designing for branding, marketing campaigns, print production, digital communications, and organizational materials.
- Strong portfolio demonstrating print, digital, branding, typography, and layout design expertise.
- Experience working with cross-functional teams and stakeholder-driven projects.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working in higher education, nonprofit, corporate, or institutional environments.
- Experience supporting brand management systems, templates, and production workflows.
- Familiarity with accessibility standards and inclusive design practices.
Technical Skills
- Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud:
- InDesign
- Illustrator
- Photoshop
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools including PowerPoint and Word.
- Strong understanding of:
