Position: Catholic Music Director & Musician
Location: Foothills Chapel, Beale AFB, CA
Schedule: Sundays (2 hrs weekly), monthly Thursday rehearsal (2 hrs), ~9 special events/year
Key Responsibilities
- Provide music for weekly Catholic Mass, monthly choir rehearsals, and special services
- Select and lead liturgical music in coordination with the Catholic Chaplain
- Direct choir and accompany worship with voice/instrument
- Recruit, train, and manage volunteer musicians
- Maintain equipment, records, and submit annual music budget
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Music (preferred)
- 2+ years’ experience directing choirs and leading Catholic worship
- Ability to sight-read and perform from OCP/GIA/Gather sources
- Skilled in vocal/instrumental performance and audio/visual systems
- Must pass background checks; references and audition required
