Associate Content Writer

As an Associate Content Writer, you will play a crucial role in the success of FINN by creating high-quality and target-oriented SEO content to make our brand accessible and sustainably increase the organic traffic of our website. Your texts are for many users the first point of contact with FINN – from informative blog articles to convincing product and landing pages.
You analyze the needs of our target group, translate complex content into understandable, user-centered texts and combine editorial quality with SEO, performance, and AI search thinking. You regularly work with AI tools for content creation and consistently check the content for timeliness, technical correctness, and quality. As part of the content team, you continuously work on further developing our content data-based and optimizing it compared to the competition.

Your goals
Create and optimize high-quality blog articles, landing pages, product pages, campaign assets, and newsletters.
Develop user-centered SEO content for Google and AI-based search engines (e.g., ChatGPT, Perplexity, Claude) with a high quality standard.
Use AI tools for content creation, research, and optimization and ensure the timeliness and quality of the content.
Operatively implement contents daily in our CMS (Cosmic) and optimize page structure, meta-data, and internal links.
Conduct competitive, content, and keyword analyses to specifically develop our content and outperform the competition.
Shape the first touchpoints of many users with FINN with your content.
Analyze content performance together with the content team and derive concrete optimization measures together.
Contribute actively to increasing the organic traffic and visibility of FINN.
Ensure a consistent brand voice, tonality, and linguistic quality across all content.
Work closely with the content and SEO team and continuously develop yourself as a content writer professionally and personally.
Your profile
You have a completed degree in a text-related or marketing-oriented field (e.g., Communication Sciences, German Studies, Journalism, Marketing, …).
You bring initial practical experience in content/copywriting or SEO-content (e.g., through internships, work-study activities, or initial professional experience).
You are creative, have a great passion for writing, and value high-quality, understandable, and target-group-appropriate content.
You have a basic understanding of SEO principles such as keyword research, search intent, and internal linking and apply these when writing content.
You have initial experience using AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini) for content creation, research, and optimization.
You have a very good sense of the German language, style, and tonality, fluent in German in speech and writing (C2 level) and very good English skills (at least B2 level).
You ideally have initial CMS experience or are motivated to quickly get used to new systems; we support you in dealing with tools like Cosmic, Ahrefs, or Google Search Console.
You are interested in performance-driven content and have initial contact with content and competitive analyses.
You work structured, independently, and hands-on and bring a high learning and implementation speed.
You enjoy change, are flexible, and feel comfortable in a dynamic environment.
Ideally, you are enthusiastic about cars, follow industry trends, and have a solid understanding of mobility issues.
€42,000 - €46,000 a year The fixed gross salary for this position is between €42,000 and €46,000 per year. In addition, you benefit from virtual shares in the company's success (VSOP - Virtual Stock Option Plan). Your individual classification within this range will be determined during the application process and will depend on your experience, qualifications, and specific professional skills. The mentioned range corresponds to our current planning at the time of publication; we reserve future adjustments in the context of market development.
