Do you enjoy history, research, photography, organizing information, or preserving important stories?
Join SAM (Station's Archived Memories), an award-winning volunteer archive project dedicated to preserving the history of Rocky Mountain PBS, KUVO Jazz, and THE DROP.
For more than 25 years, SAM volunteers have helped collect, organize, digitize, and preserve photographs, documents, memorabilia, production materials, and oral histories that tell the story of public media in Colorado. Their work ensures these valuable resources remain available for future generations.
As a SAM volunteer, you may assist with:
Organizing and preserving historical documents
Digitizing photographs and archival materials
Cataloging memorabilia and station artifacts
Assisting with production preservation projects
Helping maintain and organize digital records
Previous archival experience is preferred, but not required. Training is provided, and volunteers work alongside a welcoming and knowledgeable team.
