We are looking for someone who thinks like a strategist — not just someone who cuts clips together.

What You’ll Do Long-Form YouTube Editing

Edit box breaks, vlogs, podcast episodes, shop tours, and event coverage

Structure videos for retention and engagement

Enhance storytelling with pacing, sound design, and graphics

High level montages and intros to promote events and vlogs

Short-Form Content Creation

Create high-performing TikToks, Reels, and YouTube Shorts

Identify viral moments from long-form content

Add captions, hooks, fast pacing, motion graphics, and retention edits

Optimize for platform-specific trends

Motion Graphics & Montafes

Use After Effects for motion graphics and visual impact

Create dynamic montages and hype sequences

Contribute to branding consistency

Workflow & Execution

Manage multiple projects at once

Hit daily posting deadlines

Organize and maintain file systems

Work efficiently in a fast-paced content environment

Open to travel

Required Skills

3+ years of high-level editing experience

Advanced proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro

Strong proficiency in After Effects

Experience editing for YouTube

Experience editing vertical short-form content

Strong understanding of retention and pacing

Ability to work in person in Grove City, Ohio

Portfolio demonstrating storytelling and performance-driven edits

Preferred Qualifications

Experience working with YouTube and Social Media analytics

Experience with podcast editing

Experience with thumbnail strategy

Color grading knowledge

Understanding of social media trends
