Technical Writer Our client, a leading technology vendor, is in need of a Technical Writer for a 5-month contract engagement. This individual will be working fully remotely with ability to travel to manufacturing sites if asked. This individual will be responsible for supporting technical teams by editing, standardizing, and publishing technical documentation such as designs, installation guides, configuration details, and runbooks. They will ensure content follows standard templates, maintains clarity and consistency, and is properly managed, reviewed, and published in project repositories like SharePoint.
Required Skills: – 3+ years Technical Writing experience – experience related to HPE or VMware products is a plus – Very strong communication skills (English) – Expert Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio) – Ability to craft documentation templates – Ability to maintain and organize documents in shared repositories, ensuring version control is accurate and up to date – Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with strict timelines – Knowledge of IT systems, document control and version management
