Senior Graphic Designer – Department: Operations, Division: Manufacturing.

Position Overview
The Senior Graphic Designer leads high‑level creative execution across print, digital, product, and environmental touchpoints. They own complex projects, drive elevated aesthetics, ensure brand consistency, and engage in daily hands‑on design work. The role serves as a creative partner to leadership, collaborates across departments, and supports outreach to external partners, vendors, and media outlets.

Responsibilities

Lead concepting, design, and production of advanced creative work (campaigns, digital experiences, print collateral, packaging, trade‑show materials, product‑support assets).

Execute high‑quality visual solutions across multiple platforms with strong command of layout, typography, composition, and storytelling.

Oversee complex design projects from concept through final production with minimal supervision.

Strengthen and evolve the Daniel Defense brand through refined design standards, ensuring consistency and clarity across all deliverables.

Develop advanced brand assets, templates, and systems to improve quality and efficiency across the organization.

Provide expert feedback and guidance to other designers to ensure brand integrity.

Work closely with Marketing leadership to translate strategic goals into high‑impact visual solutions.

Partner with Product Development, Sales, Digital Commerce, and internal teams to support initiatives with elevated design.

Collaborate with external photographers, videographers, printers, creative vendors, and media partners to produce best‑in‑class materials.

Create multimedia assets, motion graphics, and digital content to support marketing campaigns and product launches.

Prepare files for print and digital delivery, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and production readiness.

Maintain expert understanding of firearms industry regulations and ensure all materials adhere to legal and safety guidelines.

Pursue continuous improvement in design quality, workflow efficiency, and creative innovation.

Contribute to company initiatives in Safety, Quality, 6S, Delivery, and Productivity.

Provide mentorship and technical guidance to junior and mid‑level designers when requested.

Demonstrate commitment to environmental health and safety principles, policies, and procedures.

Provide adequate support, training and development to team members to continuously improve safety, 6S, quality, delivery and productivity.

Contribute to the company standards on high integrity, safety, fair and equitable treatment and a positive work environment.

Other responsibilities as deemed appropriate or necessary by management.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, or related field; or a combination of relevant experience, education, and/or training sufficient to perform essential functions.

4–7 years of professional design experience.

Expert proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, XD); strong capability in motion/video tools (After Effects, Premiere, or equivalent).

Strong understanding of brand systems, marketing fundamentals, and multi‑channel creative execution.

Advanced skills in typography, color theory, layout, and composition.

Strong collaboration skills with ability to work closely with leadership, cross‑functional teams, and external partners.

Exceptional attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines.

Strong understanding of firearms safety, industry standards, and compliance requirements.

Demonstrated ability to work in accordance with our Company Values.

Physical Requirements

Must be able to lift and carry awkward items weighing up to 50 pounds.

Requires intermittent standing, walking, sitting and bending throughout the workday.

Must be able to work in a manufacturing environment, to include work in and around machinery, exposure to noise and chemicals, lights/lasers, etc.

Must be able to wear appropriate Personal Protection Equipment as required by your position and/or Company policy.
