To support the growth of lending solutions, the full-time Strategic Accounts Executive will develop and manage relationships with banks, credit unions, and financial institutions remotely, focusing on creating strategic referral and origination partnerships for underserved borrower scenarios.
Key responsibilities
Develop and maintain relationships with banks and credit unions, positioning Verus as a trusted wholesale lending partner
Identify new business opportunities and drive production growth within assigned territory through networking and market analysis
Educate institutional partners on Verus' lending solutions and ensure high levels of service and responsiveness
Required qualifications
5+ years of experience in mortgage banking, wholesale lending, business development, or institutional sales
Bachelor's degree in finance, business, or a related field preferred
Strong understanding of non-Agency, Jumbo, and wholesale mortgage lending
Existing relationships within banks, credit unions, or financial institutions strongly preferred
Proven track record of developing new business and growing production volume
