For our client, we are looking for an experienced

PHP Developer

with strong expertise in backend development using PHP and Symfony-based e-commerce systems (Sylius), as well as frontend experience with TypeScript and Next.js, to support the development and modernization of a scalable, multi-market digital commerce platform hosted on Microsoft Azure.
Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain backend services using PHP and Sylius-based e-commerce architecture
Work on the modernization and migration of the platform (Sylius v1 to v2)
Build and maintain frontend features using TypeScript and Next.js
Design and implement scalable, event-driven workflows and APIs
Collaborate with the product team on delivering features across multiple markets
Ensure high performance, stability, and scalability of the platform
Participate in architectural discussions and contribute to system design decisions
Integrate third-party services, including payments, CMS (DatoCMS), and cloud services on Microsoft Azure
Support continuous improvement of development practices and code quality
Requirements:
Senior experience of commercial experience in software development
Strong experience in PHP development
Hands-on experience with Symfony or Sylius (e-commerce systems preferred)
Solid knowledge of TypeScript
Experience with Next.js or React in production environments
Experience working with e-commerce platforms or complex web applications
Familiarity with Microsoft Azure cloud environment
Understanding of REST APIs and system integrations
Experience working in scalable or distributed architectures is a plus
Good understanding of modern software development practices (CI/CD, code quality, testing)
Ability to work in a cross-functional, product-oriented team
