Job Description


Senior Graphic Designer to assist the government with the following tasks.


Primary Responsibilities



  • Candidate will need to provide a portfolio of their graphic design experience with resume.

  • Develop graphics, digital media, cartography, and other multimedia products.

  • Utilize request management tools to provide swift, high quality customer support for communication requests.

  • Coordinate with UI/UX designer in Knowledge Management to ensure graphics products provide an engaging and user-friendly experience.

  • Create graphic designs for a variety of written and digital products.

  • Develop design concepts and implement designs for new web pages, mobile applications, newsletters, ads, infographics, banners, illustrations, logos, and other types of digital content presented online.

  • Ensure products conform to all production standards, copyright laws, accessibility compliance requirements, public release clearances.

  • Conduct technical quality checks.

  • Manage an approved concept and build in HTML/CSS so it complies with responsive design principles.

  • Provide cartography support, as needed, to design thematic and reference maps.


Required Education and Experience



  • Requires BA/BS with 18 years of experience or no degree with 24 years of experience. Master’s degree with 10 years experience.

  • Experience leading the development of graphics, digital media, cartography, and other multimedia products.

  • Experience in photography and video editing.

  • Mentor and train junior staff.

  • Experience creating graphics products that provide engaging and user-friendly experience.

  • Experience creating graphic designs for a variety of written and digital products.

  • Experience developing design concepts and implementing designs for new web pages, mobile applications, newsletters, ads, infographics, banners, illustrations, logos, and other types of digital content presented online.

  • Experience ensuring products conform to all production standards, copy‑write laws, accessibility compliance requirements, public release clearances.

  • Experience conducting technical quality checks.
