Business Relationship Manager – Business Banking
As a Business Relationship Manager (BRM) in Business Banking, you will help improve the lives of our clients and the well‑being of their businesses through financial solutions, education and advice. You will manage a portfolio of new and existing business clients, building relationships and providing financial advice with a focus on client experience and risk management.

Responsibilities

Acquire, manage and retain a portfolio of 100–130 business clients with annual revenue of $1–$5 million for your assigned branches; provide business deposit and cash management solutions and manage business credit opportunities up to approximately $500,000.

Deliver an outstanding experience to Chase business clients by providing comprehensive and customized banking solutions tailored to their financial needs.

Use knowledge of business, finance, banking, credit and risk management to identify, recommend and promote solutions that best serve the client and ensure portfolio profitability.

Conduct in‑person calls with prospects, centers of influence and existing clients; follow a disciplined relationship development process and review progress with your manager.

Identify and pursue potential new business clients, cultivating long‑term primary banking relationships.

Identify the personal financial goals of business clients and collaborate with partners across lines of business (Wealth Management, Home Lending, Branch teams) to connect clients with specialists.

Provide leadership by actively supporting your assigned branches and protecting the firm by following sound risk‑management protocols and regulatory requirements.

Required Qualifications

Minimum of 1 year experience in a Business Banking Relationship Management role or related business lending experience.

General business experience and knowledge of business credit, core products and services, and how business needs vary by industry/market.

Strong communication skills at all levels internally and externally.

Ability to balance client needs with associated risks and firm interests and determine when to elevate an issue.

Ability to prioritize daily and achieve business objectives, owning problems and following through.

Highly proficient in MS Office tools including Outlook, Excel, Word and PowerPoint.

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Finance or related field, or equivalent work experience.

Strong current business network.
