Role Overview
As a Senior Associate, you will implement day‑to‑day integrated communications activities, carrying out most of the campaign execution and administration, typically reporting to an Account Manager or Senior Account Manager. You and your teammates will be the engine of the client campaign, driving activities with determination and enthusiasm to deliver results that impact the client’s business.
Responsibilities
Act as the eyes and ears of clients’ industries, keeping account teams up to speed on sector developments
Build media and sector knowledge, and develop integrated communications skills
Develop client call agendas, take detailed notes, and map out action items and owners after calls
Communicate with clients via phone, email, and in person
Deliver analytics reports
Pitch client stories to journalists and influencers (by phone and email)
Write content such as pitches, speaking and award submissions, press releases, blog entries, feature articles, and case studies
Assist with clients’ digital marketing programs
Arrange and staff media interviews and events
Brainstorm new ideas for integrated communications campaigns
Manage a portfolio of 5–6 clients, generating results, meeting deadlines, and developing relationships with clients and media
Maintain proficiency in managing multiple concurrent campaigns and flagging potential roadblocks to account leads
Qualifications
A go‑getter who thrives on making things happen, is comfortable in a fast‑paced environment, and owns day‑to‑day execution. Must be curious, organized, resourceful, and capable of juggling multiple campaigns. Critical skills include:
Deep understanding of client target influencers and media agendas across relevant sectors
Strong pitching skills, generating outstanding results
Excellent writing for a variety of formats (pitches, press releases, blog posts, case studies)
Ability to build and sustain relationships with journalists, industry influencers, and clients
Proactive, self‑sufficient mindset with a results‑first approach
Eagerness to learn, grow, and push boundaries

Full‑time, hybrid; open to the San Francisco office.

Salary Range
$67,000.00 – $85,000.00 per year
