SummitMedia has an immediate opening for a Promotions Manager - Create events, build brands, and engage in Brimingham, AL.

Ideal Candidate

Previous experience in outdoor promotions and/or marketing and/or customer service preferred

Advanced skills in Microsoft Office, Photoshop, and Canva

Excellent organizational and project management skills; ability to prioritize and effectively manage time

High work standards and attention to detail

Physical ability to stand for multiple hours and lift or move 40-pound objects

Regular Duties Include

Manage the promotion and direction of promotional activities that improve the brand's image in Birmingham

Collaborate with multiple departments to create and execute promotions such as remotes, events, van hits, and other street team activities from start to finish

Attend client meetings and present promotional ideas

Drive promotional vehicles and coordinate and oversee on-site appearances, remotes, and events

Perform basic office administrative functions

Update station website

Conduct on-site promotions and handle clients and listeners

Set up and run audio and other types of equipment, hang banners, and other staging elements

Set up, breakdown, and transport promotion event equipment as required

Prepare contest rules, waivers, prize fulfillment, and release forms for all contests

People Skills

Communicate effectively with both staff and leadership

Ability to create an environment that benefits everyone in it, contributing to the overall success

Must reside or relocate to Birmingham, AL
