Marketing Manager
College MatchPoint is seeking a talented and data-driven Marketing Manager with experience in HubSpot and content marketing to drive awareness among parents of high school students, convert awareness to qualified leads, and support a positive customer experience throughout their journey with our college counseling service. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of content creation, social media marketing, paid advertising, and email campaigns, along with excellent communication skills and the ability to develop and execute effective marketing strategies.

Major Responsibilities

Drive awareness among parents of high school students through targeted content marketing and Facebook advertising campaigns.

Develop and implement strategies to convert awareness into qualified leads, nurturing them through the sales funnel using HubSpot.

Support a positive customer experience throughout their journey by creating engaging and informative content that addresses their needs and concerns.

Create compelling and informative content, including blog posts, articles, and social media posts, tailored to our target audience of parents with high school students.

Manage and optimize the company's Facebook advertising campaigns, ensuring maximum return on investment (ROI) and focusing on lead generation.

Utilize HubSpot to manage and track leads, create targeted email campaigns, and automate marketing processes.

Collaborate with the sales and customer support teams to ensure a seamless customer experience from initial awareness to enrollment and beyond.

Monitor and analyze the performance of content marketing and Facebook advertising campaigns using HubSpot analytics, providing regular reports and recommendations for improvement.

Stay up-to-date with the latest content marketing, Facebook advertising, and HubSpot trends and technologies, and continuously improve our marketing strategies to better serve our target audience.

Qualifications Needed

Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field.

Minimum of 3 years of experience in content marketing and Facebook advertising, preferably in the education or technology sector.

Strong understanding of content creation, social media marketing, and paid advertising, particularly on Facebook and HubSpot.

Proven track record of developing and executing successful content marketing and Facebook advertising campaigns that drive awareness and generate leads.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a keen eye for creating engaging and informative content that resonates with parents of high school students.

Proficiency in HubSpot, including lead management, email marketing, and marketing automation.

Experience with graphic design and video editing software.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

Passion for education and helping students find the right college match.

20-25 hours/week

Salary: $35-40/hour, with bonus based on goals

Admissions Specialist (Part-Time)
We are seeking a passionate, engaging college admissions specialist to join our fun, collaborative team in assisting high school students with the college application process. We are looking for coaches with 2+ years of experience working directly with high school students in a college counseling or admissions capacity.

Responsibilities

Help students craft compelling resumes and activity lists that highlight their skills, achievements, and interests.

Provide resume and activity list editing and feedback to strengthen students' applications.

Guide students through completing college applications and supplementary materials.

Assist students in researching best-fit colleges and universities.

Suggest enriching summer programs, camps, and other opportunities to boost college applications.

Inspire and encourage students through the stressful admissions process with a positive, supportive attitude.

Key Qualifications

Bachelor's degree required; college counseling or admissions experience preferred.

At least two years experience.

Excellent writing, editing, and interpersonal skills.

Ability to build rapport with high school students.

Passion for mentoring and motivating teens.

Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

Comfortable learning and utilizing latest technology and project management tools.

Approximately 15-20 hours per week.

Hourly pay rate is $30-45/hour based on experience.
