Marketing Coordinator - Full-Time or Part-Time - Norfolk, VA Enjoy a rewarding and challenging position with a nonprofit organization helping educate, train, and provide employment opportunities for individuals with disabilities since 1955. We are currently seeking applicants for a full-time or part-time Marketing Coordinator who will support and coordinate Eggleston’s marketing, digital media, community engagement, and event promotion activities through execution of marketing campaigns, social media management, digital content production, community outreach coordination, and analytics reporting. The Marketing Coordinator assists with maintaining Eggleston’s brand presence across digital and community platforms while supporting fundraising initiatives, program visibility, engagement, and organizational communications. This position serves as a high-level operational marketing role focused on campaign coordination, content production, event marketing, and digital engagement while operating under the strategic direction of the Vice President of Marketing & Development. Work schedule may include community events beyond normal operating hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
The following duties and responsibilities represent the essential functions of this job that an individual must be able to perform with or without a reasonable accommodation:
Coordinates and manages day-to-day social media operations and content scheduling
Develops and produces digital media content including graphics, photography, video, and promotional materials
Assist with execution and coordination of organizational advertising and promotional campaigns
Supports fundraising and community event marketing activities, including sponsorship visibility and outreach promotion
Coordinates marketing calendars, campaign timelines, and content workflows
Assist with maintaining branding consistency across organizational communications and digital platforms
Monitors and tracks social media engagement, advertising performance, and marketing analytics
Assists with Google Analytics, Meta Business Suite, and digital performance reporting
Supports website updates and digital content management
Provides photography and video coverage for organizational programs and community events
Drafts promotional materials, flyers, press releases, and community communication content
Collaborates with organizational departments to support program visibility and community engagement efforts
Travels locally for community outreach, event participation, and marketing activities
Performs other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS, EDUCATION, & EXPERIENCE:
The following qualifications represent the training, education, certifications, licensures, and/or work experience required to perform the essential duties and responsibilities successfully:
Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Communications, Business Administration, Digital Media, or a related field preferred
Two to four years of experience in marketing, communications, social media management, digital media production, or a related field preferred
Experience with Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, CapCut, or similar graphic and video editing software preferred
An understanding of Google Analytics, Meta Business Suite, digital advertising, and marketing performance metrics is preferred
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively
Strong interpersonal and customer service skills
Proficient with Microsoft 365 and social media platforms
PHYSICAL DEMANDS & WORK ENVIRONMENT:
Physical demands: Performing the duties of this job requires near visual acuity, the ability to hear, understand, and distinguish speech and/or other sounds, and gross manipulation. Additionally, the employee:
Must be free of tuberculosis in a communicable form.
Must be able to lift and/or move up to 20 pounds
Must be able to sit or stand for prolonged periods of time (up to two hours)
Work environment: While performing the duties of this job, the employee will be primarily in an office setting. Indoor environmental conditions will vary according to the weather conditions prevalent at the time. The noise level in the work environment is usually minimal.
