Instructional Technology And Data Specialist
Primary Purpose: To serve as the campus instructional technology and data leader who provides campus-wide coaching, administrative data support, and turnaround professional development to drive Data-Driven Instruction, delivers future-ready student instruction that fosters traditional literacy, AI ethics, and data literacy, and manages a modern, state-compliant media program. Serving as a vital liaison between district departments and campus staff, this position bridges the gap between curriculum, technology, data, and literacy. The Specialist rapidly masters the district's digital ecosystem to ensure app fidelity, empower teachers, and guarantee equitable access to high-quality print and digital media.
Qualifications:
Education/Certification: Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university
Valid Texas Teaching Certificate
Master's degree in Learning Technologies or Library/Information Science, preferred
Special Knowledge/Skills:
Tech & AI Proficiency: Strong background in educational technology with a demonstrated ability to rapidly learn, master, and train others on new digital platforms and AI tools
Data Leadership: Strong data literacy with experience navigating assessment platforms (e.g., Eduphoria, NWEA MAP, or similar systems) to pull and analyze reports
Instructional Coaching: Ability to design and deliver professional learning for adults on technology integration
Classroom Management: Strong ability to manage students in both fixed rotation and flexible learning environments
Organizational Skills: Willingness to learn collection development, state standards (HB 900/SB 13), and manage physical and digital inventories
Experience: Minimum of two years' successful classroom teaching experience
