Kelly Services has partnered with a company in the safety industry that has been in business for 50 years to find a direct hire Inside Sales Support Administrator. The Inside Sales Support Administrator position is responsible for providing direct support to the ongoing development of existing and prospective customers to ensure the company meets or exceeds its growth goals. This role develops and maintains relationships with key customer contacts, proactively provides information including product, pricing, and delivery to satisfy customer expectations and/or requests, and manages accounts from quotation through completed orders. Job Responsibilities
Work with Sales Managers to complete quotations, establish customer headers, and obtain pricing and contract approvals.
Manage customer accounts from quotation through order completion.
Handle customer inquiries via phone and email.
Build, maintain, and strengthen long-term customer relationships.
Proactively follow up on quotes, orders, and customer requests.
Coordinate order flow from production through shipping to ensure on-time delivery.
Monitor order status, order holds, backorders, and shipment timelines; communicate updates to customers.
Process and review orders for accuracy, including pricing, quantities, and shipping details.
Handle and help resolve customer issues, discrepancies, or complaints.
Support growth initiatives by assisting with new and existing customer development.
Travel and assist Sales Managers at tradeshows as needed.
Track, maintain, and report monthly sales and support activity to the Inside Sales Supervisor.
Maintain accurate records and ensure proper documentation and recordkeeping.
Set up and maintain customer accounts and user access.
Scan, file, and organize documents for proper retention and compliance.
Fulfill basic Records responsibilities.
Work with Technical Support, Customer Service, Marketing, and Accounting to resolve customer needs.
Coordinate with internal teams to ensure smooth order processing and issue resolution.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the company's product portfolio.
Demonstrate the ability to match customer needs with company products.
Keep management informed of customer feedback, potential bottlenecks, and limitations that could impact performance.
Respond to situations in a manner that positively reflects the company brand.
Qualifications:
Graduation from high school or GED required.
2+years of experience in a similar role.
At least 2 years of consistent work experience in a customer service-related capacity.
NetSuite ERP system is a plus.
Strong attention to details and proven ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.
Experience building and maintaining positive relationships with current and prospective customers.
Customer-focused mindset with a dedication to ensuring requests and needs are addressed promptly.
Self-starter with a positive, up-beat attitude.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
