*SUMMARY:* First Baptist Church (FBC) in Fayetteville, NC, is searching for a qualified applicant to fill the part-time Pianist/Accompanist position. The primary function is to enhance worship through music by providing skilled piano accompaniment for choirs, soloists and the congregation, as well as appropriate service music in cooperation with the church organist.
*Regular Duties:*
· The pianist shall be available to play for rehearsals of choirs, ensembles, and soloists as requested by the Minister of music.
· The pianist will play for the Sunday morning worship Service. This includes pre-service rehearsals as needed.
· The pianist will play for funerals as requested should the organist be unavailable but will not be expected to play for funerals when it requires loss of income from other employment.
*Extra Duties:*
· Special services such as Christmas Eve Service, and Revival Services, not on Sunday or Wednesday, will involve extra compensation at the current hourly rate.
· Extra rehearsals and concerts scheduled for times other than salaried hours on Wednesday and Sunday will involve extra compensation at the current hourly rate.
*Normal Weekly Hours: *5
*Annual Leave: *1 Sunday and 1 Wednesday
*Annual Salary:* $5000
