We're hiring a highly skilled Digital Sculptor to join our Austin design team. This role suits someone with advanced ZBrush experience who sculpts quickly, accurately, and with manufacturing realities in mind from the very first stroke.

Our products become real, physical objects produced at scale. The ideal candidate balances creativity, speed, material thickness, structural integrity, and production limits while holding a high level of sculptural quality and visual appeal. It's a fast-paced, highly collaborative role working closely with our Industrial Designers, Project Managers, Production Design, and overseas manufacturing partners to bring complex concepts to life.

What You'll Do
Translate 2D concept artwork and sketches into production-ready 3D sculpts
Create highly detailed digital sculptures for customer presentations, prototyping, and manufacturing
Adjust wall thicknesses, tolerances, and structural details in real time to meet manufacturing and tooling requirements
Balance artistic quality with practical production constraints
Collaborate closely with Industrial Designers and Project Managers throughout development
Prepare files for 3D printing, prototyping, and production workflows
Troubleshoot problematic geometry and resolve model issues efficiently
Manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting tight deadlines
Communicate clearly on timelines, technical limitations, and project status
Contribute to the continued evolution of our sculpting workflows, standards, and best practices
Stay current on digital sculpting techniques, software updates, and emerging technologies

Who You Are
2–5 years of professional digital sculpting experience
Advanced proficiency in ZBrush with the ability to sculpt efficiently and accurately
Strong understanding of manufacturability, material thickness, and production constraints
Strong Rhino 3D experience preferred
Experience creating watertight, production-ready geometry
Strong understanding of form, proportion, surface quality, and detailing
Highly organized with strong time-management skills
Able to work independently and own your output
Comfortable receiving feedback and iterating quickly
A strong communicator who collaborates well across departments

Extra Experience We Welcome
KeyShot rendering experience
Experience with 3D printing workflows and prototype preparation
Knowledge of SolidWorks or other parametric CAD platforms
Experience designing consumer products or physical manufactured goods
Background in collectibles, character sculpting, toy design, or ornamental product design
Adobe Creative Suite proficiency

Base salary: $50,000–$75,000 depending on experience
