About the Role:
We’re looking for a highly motivated Associate Brand Manager to help drive the next phase of growth across the Better Than portfolio (Better Than Bouillon, Better Than Marinade, Better Than Gravy). This role is ideal for someone who combines analytical and business acumen with creativity, curiosity, and a passion for building brands.

The Associate Brand Manager will play an active role across brand strategy, innovation, commercialization, consumer insights, campaign development, and business analytics. This individual will work cross-functionally with Sales, R&D, Finance, Packaging, Project Management, and external agency partners to help bring new products, campaigns, and growth initiatives to market.

This is a high-visibility role with meaningful ownership and exposure to multiple areas of the business, offering strong opportunities for career growth and development within a fast-paced entrepreneurial environment of a smaller CPG company.

Key Responsibilities:
Brand Strategy & Growth

Help develop and execute strategies that drive brand growth, household penetration, and consumer engagement

Analyze category, consumer, and competitive trends to identify opportunities for innovation and expansion

Contribute to positioning, messaging, and long‑term brand strategy development

Support annual planning and innovation pipeline development

Support innovation initiatives from concept through launch

Partner cross‑functionally on product positioning, packaging development, claims, and commercialization

Help bring new products and line extensions to market across retail and eCommerce channels

Marketing & Campaign Development

Support integrated marketing campaigns across digital, social, retail and other in‑store channels

Collaborate with agency partners on creative development, content, and campaign execution

Help develop customer‑facing presentations, commercialization materials, and selling stories

Monitor campaign performance and identify optimization opportunities

Consumer Insights & Business Analytics

Analyze syndicated data sources (Nielsen/Numerator) for brand and retailer performance, consumer insights, and category trends to identify opportunities for growth

Translate data into actionable recommendations and compelling business stories

Monitor brand performance metrics including sales, distribution, velocity, household penetration, and market share

Support development of customer presentations, innovation recommendations, and strategic business reviews

Financial & Business Management

Assist in managing brand marketing budgets and agency investments

Help evaluate campaign and innovation performance to optimize ROI and business impact

Support forecasting, financial tracking, and business performance analysis

Partner cross‑functionally with Finance and Sales to support profitable brand growth

Cross‑Functional Leadership

Work collaboratively across functions including Marketing, Sales, R&D, Project Management, Finance, and external agency partners

Manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast‑paced environment

Identify opportunities to improve processes, execution, and business performance

What We’re Looking For:

2–4 years of experience in marketing or related business field, preferably in the consumer goods industry

Strong analytical mindset with ability to interpret data and translate insights into business recommendations

Experience working with syndicated data platforms such as Nielsen and other data sources, but not required

Passion for brand building, consumer behavior, and identifying growth opportunities

Ability to balance creativity with business and analytical thinking

Experience managing timelines and juggling multiple priorities simultaneously

Excellent project management and organizational skills

Curious, proactive, and entrepreneurial mindset

Collaborative cross‑functional leadership skills
