You will be responsible for growing customer purchase volume in your assigned territory. You will be responsible for all aspects of the sales cycle./ppThis includes outreach to business owners to set appointments, assessing the needs of current customers using a consultative approach, and driving existing account engagement. This person needs to be process-oriented and highly organized. You will be expected to educate customers on the Capital One value proposition and solutions to benefit their businesses./ppGeneral Responsibilities:/pulliUse insight and consultative selling techniques to teach current customers how they can leverage payment solutions (purchasing, travel, and electronic account payable) to positively impact their business/liliLearn the purchasing needs and behaviors of our current customers./liliAnalyze the total business spend to identify additional opportunities to leverage our products and services/liliBuild broad and technical product knowledge and an understanding of how customer processes work with our products and services/liliAssist our customers with incorporating our products into their purchasing platform and bookkeeping software/liliMaintain and update CRM systems to ensure data compliance/liliDrive incremental charge volume on the card with existing customers/li/ulpCompetencies:/pulliAbility to secure appointments directly with customers/liliProven experience growing existing customers in the field/liliRelationship building and strategic selling skills/liliStrong organizational, interpersonal, telephone and PC Skills/liliExcellent needs-based oral presentation skills/liliProject and process management, interpersonal influence, networking, project ownership, and workflow management skills/li/ulpBasic Qualifications:/pulliAt least 3 years of sales experience/li/ulpPreferred Qualifications:/pulliBachelors Degree/lili5 years of outside customer sales experience as an individual contributor, driving new acquisition and managing a client portfolio/lili1 year of experience working with Small Businesses Customers/lili1 year of experience in the financial services industry/liliProficiency using Salesforce.com/liliProficiency using Google Suite/li/ulpAt this time, Capital One will not sponsor a new applicant for employment authorization for this position./ppThe minimum and maximum full-time annual salaries for this role are listed below, by location. Please note that this salary information is solely for candidates hired to perform work within one of these locations, and refers to the amount Capital One is willing to pay at the time of this posting. Salaries for part-time roles will be prorated based upon the agreed upon number of hours to be regularly worked./ppSales Territory: $100,000 - $135,000 for Customer Development Manager/ppCandidates hired to work in other locations will be subject to the pay range associated with that location, and the actual annualized salary amount offered to any candidate at the time of hire will be reflected solely in the candidates offer letter./ppThis role is also eligible to earn performance based incentive compensation, which may include cash bonus(es) and/or long term incentives (LTI).
