Overview
The Sr Manager of Creative Strategy & Production leads a fully integrated Creative Services and Multimedia team, combining strong creative vision with hands‑on execution. This role balances strategic brand leadership with active participation in design, video, content production, and the responsible use emerging AI technologies. The Lead, Creative Strategy & Production owns the end‑to‑end creative workflow, driving continuous process improvement to deliver high‑quality, on‑brand work with greater efficiency and consistency.
The ideal candidate thrives in a collaborative, fast‑paced environment and is equally comfortable generating big ideas, refining design details, shaping visual storytelling, and improving the creative engine that supports the organization.
This role is based at our Corporate Headquarters in Ramsey, NJ and follows a hybrid schedule, with onsite work Monday–Thursday and remote work on Fridays.
Responsibilities
Creative Leadership & Hands‑On Execution
- Provide creative direction for all brand, campaign, digital, print, and multimedia projects.
- Actively contribute to design, visual layout, storyboarding, and video production when needed.
- Generate and refine concepts that align with marketing strategies, audience needs, and brand positioning.
- Ensure creative deliverables reflect a high level of craftsmanship and attention to detail.
- Leverage AI tools to enhance creative ideation, visual exploration, production speed, and content variation—while maintaining brand integrity and human oversight.
Team Management & Unified Creative Operations
- Lead and mentor a blended team of a Manager, designers and multimedia specialists.
- Build a collaborative culture across Creative Services and Multimedia as one integrated team.
- Provide clear direction, feedback, and development opportunities to elevate individual and team performance.
Process Ownership & Workflow Optimization
- Own and continuously refine the creative intake, prioritization, and project management processes.
- Implement systems, tools, and SOPs that improve speed, transparency, and quality.
- Establish and enforce creative review stages, approval workflows, and version control best practices.
- Partner with cross‑functional stakeholders to streamline communication, set expectations, and improve alignment.
- Identify opportunities to integrate AI‑driven efficiencies in asset creation, editing, automation, templating, and content scaling.
Brand Stewardship
- Uphold and evolve visual brand standards across all channels and assets.
- Guide consistent application of brand guidelines in campaigns, digital experiences, events, presentations, and social content.
- Ensure messaging and visuals work together to tell compelling, unified brand stories.
Multimedia & Content Production
- Provide creative direction for photo and video shoots, motion graphics, and post‑production.
- Oversee production of multimedia assets for marketing, social media, product communications, and corporate initiatives.
- Maintain high technical quality across editing, color correction, sound, and visual composition.
- Use AI tools to support storyboard development, visual treatments, editing optimization, and asset enhancement—without compromising authenticity or creative integrity.
Cross‑Functional Partnership
- Collaborate closely with Brand, Digital, Product Marketing, Corporate Communications, and Channel Marketing.
- Support strategic initiatives with concepts and creative recommendations.
- Confidently present creative ideas and rationale to leadership and stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Multimedia, Visual Communications, Marketing, or related field
- 8+ years of creative experience with a strong portfolio demonstrating design and multimedia expertise.
- 5+ years leading creative teams in an agency or in‑house environment.
