Band Director - Middle & High School Instrumental Music Teacher

Northeastern Wayne School Corporation is seeking an Instrumental Music Teacher - Band Director for the upcoming school year.

Northeastern Middle School & Northeastern High School

Anticipated Start Date: July 1, 2026

Pay dependent upon experience, degree, and salary schedule stated in Collective Bargaining Agreement.

Responsibilities and Requirements:

Current Indiana teaching license in subject area (or ability to obtain licensure)

Job Qualifications:

Strong background in content area and instruction

Knowledge of best practices to meet the individual needs of students at a variety of skill levels

Ability to work collaboratively with a team of educators

Ability to incorporate technology effectively to support learning and instruction

Other characteristics include: highly organized, strong communication skills, self-motivated
