Summary of Duties

As the Coordinator for Innovative Programming, you will take a leadership role in guiding students through an engaging and transformative alternative pathway to graduation. This position offers a chance to shape and lead our after‑school Innovative Programming, fostering a supportive environment that nurtures students' unique learning needs and aspirations.

High School Principal
Program Hours

2:45 PM – 4:45 PM, Monday to Friday
Responsibilities & Duties

Design, develop, and oversee the implementation of innovative and personalized lesson plans catering to diverse learning styles and individual needs
Facilitate an inclusive and collaborative learning environment where students are encouraged to express themselves and explore their interests
Employ creative teaching methods that inspire critical thinking, problem‑solving, and real‑world application of knowledge
Collaborate with a team of educators and administrators to share insights, strategies, and best practices for alternative education
Monitor and assess student progress, providing timely feedback to both students and parents/guardians
Cultivate a positive classroom culture that promotes growth, self‑confidence, and mutual respect
Incorporate project‑based learning and experiential activities to enhance students' engagement and learning outcomes
Oversee pupil accounting documentation for innovative programming students
Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Education or related field (Master's preferred)
Valid teaching certification and/or relevant credentials
Prior experience in alternative or personalized education settings is highly desirable
Enthusiasm for working with diverse learners and a dedication to addressing individual student needs
Excellent communication skills to effectively engage students, parents, and colleagues.
Strong organizational abilities to manage individualized lesson plans, assessments, and progress tracking
Patience, empathy, and adaptability in tailoring teaching methods to accommodate various learning styles

$15,000 Stipend
