Front Office Trader Tools Developer

Location: New York City (fully onsite to start)
Duration: 12-month contract project with the possibility of extension and FTE
Must have skills:
Experience working with FO Traders directly building tools in a variety of Technologies. Primarily Excel/VBA & Python. Must be strong in these technologies.
Excellent Front Office Business Knowledge in one or more asset classes (Equities, FX, Commodities, FI & Rates). Commodities knowledge is desirable.
Solid understanding of financial instruments in derivatives, including pricing models, Greeks, and risk management concepts.
Proven Experience working with Desk Heads and Senior Traders managing priorities and defining solutions with a strategic view for the future.
Desirable skills:
Experience working with Market Data Platforms such as Bloomberg.
Experience working with Ploty Dash and building dashboards in Python.
Experience in C#
Senior level experience to help lead junior team members
Responsibilities:
This is a hands-on development role working with Commodity Traders building new desktop tools and supporting existing tools (pricing sheets etc...). The ideal candidate would be someone doing a similar role with proven experience.
