Location: NYC, NY (Hybrid)
Job Type: Full-Time
Major Responsibilities:
Developing sophisticated FO applications
Implementing and performing rigorous testing of the software that is developed.
Understanding business requirements and writing specifications
Building applications as per the specification.
Administering & work with other teams to handle all batch processing and be able to handle job failures.
Required Qualifications:
6+ years with Java experience (SE, EE)
3+ years with messaging technologies (JMS)
3+ years database experience – writing or dealing with data access layers (SQL Server preferred)
Experience with Spring and Hibernate
Experience with Maven is a plus.
Strong architecture & design skills.
Strong communication skills. Ability to clearly articulate ideas, solutions etc.
Self-driven - Ability to lead projects from initiation to completion.
Strong educational background with BS / MS in Computer Science, Engineering or related area
Experience building FO EQ applications.(e.g. IOIs platform, Positions and Risk modules..)
Experience with automated testing tools
