Assistant Band Director

The Granville High School Marching Band is hiring an assistant band director. This is a part time supplemental position with a salary range between $3,761-$8,462 for the season, depending on experience. This person will be expected to attend summer rehearsals, after-school practices, performances and games. Responsibilities will include running/assisting with music rehearsals, sectionals, marching technique, and administrative tasks. The GHS Marching Band is a show-style band with approximately 130 members. Applicants do not have to be currently affiliated with a school, and qualifications may vary. Desired qualifications would include a degree in music or at least strong musical training. However, any applicant with musical background and/or marching band experience may apply.
