Principal Responsibilities:

The Marketing Director leads strategic marketing and communications to promote the JCC's programs, memberships, and community impact. This role oversees campaigns, content, and audience engagement across digital and traditional channels, ensuring all communications reflect the JCC's mission, values, and brand.

Key Responsibilities

Strategy & Campaigns

Develop and execute integrated marketing strategy aligned with organizational goals.
Lead campaigns for membership, programs, events, and fundraising.
Manage marketing calendar and ensure timely, high-quality communications.
Execution & Channels

Execute monthly campaigns across email, social, digital advertising, and print.
Manage email marketing (weekly newsletters, segmented communications).
Oversee social media content, engagement, and growth.
Collaborate with internal teams to align messaging and priorities.
Content & Storytelling

Design and oversee marketing content, including campaigns, newsletters, press materials and annual impact report.
Lead storytelling that highlights program impact and community.
Produce/direct multimedia content, including short-form video.
Brand & Visibility

Increase visibility through media outreach, partnerships, and community engagement.
Support positioning of the JCC as a welcoming, inclusive community hub.
Data & Optimization

Partner with digital specialist to review performance metrics and insights.
Use data to refine messaging, targeting, and campaign effectiveness.
Events & Programs

Design promotion of key initiatives (Shalom on the Range, Jewish Arts Festival, Hanukkah Market, Summer Camp, ECC).
Attend events as needed to capture content.
Perform other related duties as needed, required or assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:

Qualifications

Strong strategic, writing, creative and content development skills.
Experience managing multi-channel campaigns (email, social, digital).
Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple deadlines.
Collaborative, proactive, and solutions-oriented.
Education & Experience

Bachelor's degree and/or 3+ years in marketing or communications.
Experience with email marketing and social platforms.
Familiarity with analytics to inform strategy (in partnership with specialist).
Nonprofit or mission-driven experience preferred.
Technical Skills

Microsoft Office, Adobe Creative Suite
Email marketing platforms (e.g., Constant Contact)
Social media platforms and scheduling tools
