Position Summary:

We are seeking a strategic Digital Product Owner who bridges the gap between user experience, web design, and digital marketing to drive customer-centric digital products. This role demands a balance of creative vision and analytical rigor, with responsibility for optimizing digital experiences that deliver measurable business outcomes and customer value.

Key Responsibilities:

Digital Experience Strategy & Ownership

Define and communicate a clear vision for WordPress-based digital products and experiences that align with marketing strategy and business objectives.

Develop and maintain a prioritized product roadmap for digital properties, balancing UX improvements, design enhancements, and marketing performance optimization.

Act as the primary liaison between marketing, design, development, and business stakeholders to translate requirements into viable digital solutions.

Champion customer obsession by integrating user feedback, behavioral insights, and journey mapping into product development decisions.

UX & Web Design Leadership (WordPress-Focused)

Lead UX design decisions independently using WordPress capabilities, themes, and plugins to create intuitive, accessible digital experiences.

Implement and maintain design consistency across WordPress properties through established theme frameworks and component libraries.

Conduct usability testing and analyze user interaction data to identify UX/UI performance issues and optimization opportunities.

Apply UX best practices including clear navigation, scannable content, mobile responsiveness, and accessibility standards (WCAG 2.1 AA minimum).

Partner with content strategists to ensure content is findable, digestible, and conversion-focused within WordPress's content management framework.

Digital Marketing Integration

Optimize WordPress properties for conversion, engagement, and customer lifecycle progression through data-driven experimentation.

Align web experiences with campaign strategies through WordPress integrations with marketing automation platforms, CRM systems, and analytics tools.

Leverage digital analytics, A/B testing capabilities, and customer data to inform design and functionality decisions.

Coordinate cross-channel digital efforts including SEO optimization, paid media landing pages, email integration, and social media touchpoints.

Product Development & Delivery

Facilitate agile release planning including prioritization, scheduling, testing, and change management within WordPress environment.

Translate business requirements into user stories, acceptance criteria, and implementation plans for developers and agencies.

Monitor product performance through KPIs: conversion rates, bounce rates, task completion, user satisfaction, and page load speed.

Evaluate and recommend WordPress plugins, themes, and third-party integrations to extend functionality cost-effectively.

Qualifications & Requirements:

Required:

4-6 years of experience in digital marketing, product management, UX design, or related roles.

Hands-on experience managing WordPress sites including theme customization, plugin configuration, and performance optimization.

Strong understanding of web design principles, UX best practices, and digital accessibility standards.

Advanced proficiency with WordPress (theme frameworks, page builders, plugin ecosystems).

Strong command of digital analytics platforms (Google Analytics preferred) and UX research tools.

Working knowledge of HTML/CSS for basic troubleshooting and design adjustments.

Familiarity with design tools (Figma, Canva, or Adobe Creative Suite) for wireframing and mockups.

Understanding of SEO, conversion rate optimization, and digital marketing channel performance.

Experience with marketing technology integrations (marketing automation, CRM, email platforms).

Preferred:

Experience with WordPress-specific SEO/GEO plugins.

Knowledge of accessibility testing tools and inclusive design principles.

Familiarity with A/B testing and experience optimization platforms.

Understanding of web performance optimization and Core Web Vitals.

Experience managing vendor relationships with WordPress developers or agencies.

Key Competencies:

Experience working independently and making UX decisions without dedicated design team support.

Proven ability to work in agile or cross-functional team environments.
