Job Description

Josh Turek For Iowa is seeking a Multimedia Producer to join the campaign's digital team. The Multimedia Producer will play a crucial role in creating compelling visual content that shares Josh Turek's prairie populist message online to win Iowa's battleground U.S. Senate race.
The ideal candidate for this position is a strong visual storyteller with exceptional videography, photography, and graphic design skills, as well as a passion for creating engaging digital content and electing a leader like Josh Turek to the Senate.
This person will report to the Digital Director and will be expected to relocate to Des Moines, Iowa as soon as possible.
Duties and Responsibilities will include:
Staff the campaign trail to capture high-quality videography and photography at campaign events across Iowa
Edit footage for the campaign's social media accounts to tell the candidate's story and values
Produce graphic assets, including static graphics and motion graphics
Work closely with the digital team to generate creative ideas, write scripts, and produce content for the campaign's vertical video program across platforms like TikTok, Reels, and YouTube Shorts
Other duties as needed
Successful candidates will have:
1-3+ years of content and creative production experience
Political campaign or organization experience is not required, but strongly preferred
Expertise in video and graphic editing software such as Adobe Premiere, After Effects, Illustrator, Photoshop, or similar programs
Strong creative instincts and an ability to tell stories in unique and compelling ways
Experience working with a candidate or principal while capturing visual content
A strong understanding of online trends and what performs across digital platforms
Attention to detail and the ability to work with tight deadlines
Access to camera equipment is a plus, Valid driver's license and reliable access to a vehicle required
