Junior UX Designer Position

Join the ÖBB team as a Junior UX Designer, where you will contribute to designing intuitive user interfaces and digital features for various ÖBB sales applications. This role offers the chance to work closely with experienced colleagues and interdisciplinary teams to develop innovative digital solutions that enhance user experiences.
Key Responsibilities:
Support the design of user interfaces and digital features for ÖBB's web, app, ticket machine, and train attendant devices.
Develop and visualize ideas for innovative digital sales solutions.
Create wireframes, screen flows, and initial design concepts in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
Assist in the creation and evolution of design components, UI kits, and documentation for development.
Prepare, conduct, and analyze usability tests to better understand user needs.
Take ownership of specific projects and responsibilities with opportunities for personal and professional growth.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Completed or nearly completed education in UX Design, Interaction Design, Graphic/Web Design, or a similar field.
Experience with UX/UI design through internships, study projects, or initial work experience.
Basic understanding of user-centered design, information architecture, and usability principles.
Proficiency in design tools, particularly Figma.
Interest in digital products and interdisciplinary teamwork.
Creativity, eagerness to learn, and a good sense of user-friendly solutions.
