Assisting in the design, development, and maintenance of web-based applications, the Junior Web Developer will work full-time under the guidance of senior developers to enhance Navy readiness through intelligent digital solutions.
Key responsibilities
Support the full software development lifecycle for MyNAVSUP and other custom applications
Perform routine site audits and maintenance while scaling web properties to meet business needs
Write clean, efficient, and testable code using standard web practices for front-end and back-end integration
Required qualifications
US Citizenship and Active DoD Clearance
Minimum of 3-5 years of professional web development experience, preferably in a government or DoD environment
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience)
Current DoD 8570/8140 compliance (e.g., Security+ CE) is highly preferred
Foundational knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript
