Department Overview
The Marketing Department drives brand growth, customer engagement, and revenue across multiple hospitality businesses. It manages social media, content creation, events, promotions, partnerships, email marketing, and advertising to increase visibility and foot traffic. The team works closely with business owners to maintain strong brand presence, execute campaigns, and create memorable customer experiences while building systems that keep marketing organized, scalable, and results-driven.

Qualifications

2+ years of full-time or internship experience in marketing

Junior or Senior in undergrad or Graduate students are encouraged to apply

Available 10-20 hours a week hybrid

Strong understanding of social media platforms and trends

Experience managing multiple brands or clients simultaneously

Excellent organizational and project management skills

Ability to execute quickly while maintaining attention to detail

Strong communication and leadership skills

Experience with tools like Airtable, Google Workspace, and social scheduling platforms is a plus

Knowledge

Strong understanding of social media marketing, brand management, and customer engagement strategies across hospitality and lifestyle brands

Knowledge of digital advertising, email marketing, event promotion, influencer outreach, and local partnership development

Familiarity with platforms such as Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, Google Business, Airtable, and Google Workspace

Understanding of campaign analytics, content strategy, and brand positioning across multiple channels

Skills

Excellent organizational and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple brands, campaigns, and deadlines simultaneously

Strong written and verbal communication skills for client management, team coordination, and promotional content creation

Ability to analyze marketing performance, identify growth opportunities, and adjust strategies based on results

Strong content planning, event coordination, and campaign execution skills

Leadership and delegation skills for managing interns and supporting team productivity

Key Responsibilities
Client & Account Management

Lead weekly check-ins and 5-point business reviews for each client

Maintain strong relationships with business owners through monthly meetings and ongoing communication

Ensure all client information (hours, offerings, branding) is accurate and up to date across platforms

Develop and maintain client to-do lists and ensure timely execution

Marketing Strategy & Campaign Execution

Plan and execute marketing campaigns, promotions, and event launches

Identify and target key customer segments (e.g., private parties, themed events, weekly specials)

Oversee creation and distribution of weekly email marketing campaigns

Manage advertising campaigns (paid social, event promotions, etc.)

Develop and execute press and influencer strategies for each brand

Content & Social Media Management

Oversee content strategy across Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and other platforms

Approve and manage content calendars for all brands

Ensure consistent posting schedules and brand voice

Monitor trends and integrate relevant content ideas

Coordinate content creation requests between clients, interns, and creatives

Events & Promotions

Plan, promote, and execute events (e.g., themed nights, holiday promotions, launch parties)

Create and distribute promotional materials (posters, digital signage, social assets)

Ensure events are listed and promoted across platforms (Eventbrite, local media, community calendars)

Track performance and optimize future events

Brand Presence & Partnerships

Maintain and optimize Google Business profiles and online presence

Manage review generation and response strategies

Develop and execute cross-promotions and local partnerships

Engage with online communities (social comments, local groups, forums)

Operations & Systems Management

Build and maintain systems using tools like Airtable and Google Sheets

Track marketing calendars, campaigns, and deliverables across brands

Maintain organized databases (collabs, cold outreach, influencers)

Record and document meetings, strategies, and outcomes

Team & Intern Management

Manage and delegate tasks to interns (weekly meetings & asynchronous communication)

Ensure interns are executing consistently and correctly

Build repeatable workflows and training systems

Monitor communication channels and task completion

Analytics & Optimization

Track performance across campaigns, events, and content

Identify opportunities for growth and improvement

Report on key insights and adjust strategies accordingly

Physical Demands
This role is primarily office and on-site event-based, with minimal physical requirements. Occasional walking may be required for capturing content or assisting with neighborhood marketing, such as posting flyers or promoting events locally. Must be comfortable using a smartphone to take photos or videos during events or while on-site.
