Werkstudent In The Field Of Power Electronics AVL Software and Functions GmbH offers a job in Germany (DE) as a student assistant in the field of power electronics (m/f/d). YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES: You will work under the guidance of an experienced mentor in our power electronics development team at the Regensburg location and will be in close contact with colleagues in Istanbul and Warsaw. You will support development projects in the field of power electronics – with a focus on one or more of the following areas: DC-DC converters onboard chargers traction inverters. You will gain practical experience with essential elements of power electronic products, such as circuit and schematic development, the layout of power and gate drivers, DC-link design as well as thermal and mechanical aspects. You will support tests of electronic prototypes in various ongoing development programs. If mutual interest exists, there is the possibility to continue your student assistant role as part of a final thesis. YOUR PROFILE: Enrolled student in electrical engineering, mechatronics, control engineering, mechanical engineering or a comparable course of study Interest in hardware development and enthusiasm for e-mobility Good knowledge of the basics of power electronics and related components Team spirit, social competence and intercultural openness Analytical and conceptual skills Good German and English skills Personality counts more than anything else!
